Use Pocket PC w/ wifi as wireless card for desktop system

I have a Toshiba e750 Pocket PC with a built-in 802.11b card. I have lots
of fun using pocketWiNC to find all the hotspots in my area but now I'd like
to get my desktop in the wireless world so I can connect to a local
university network (with permission of course). Is there any way to use the
Pocket PC as a wireless connection for my desktop system when it's connected
via USB with Activesync?

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks a lot.

Hi Mitchua,

Even if you could do that, it would not be worth your time. The fact of the
matter is that your Pocket PC bus is just to slow, and the usb connection is
a serial connection most likely. You transfer files back and forth the pda
and you know how slow it is, the same will occur with wifi.

You'd be better off getting a cheap wifi usb adapter for your desktop. You
can usually get one for about $50 on the average, less if on sale.
