use Access Point as wireless game adapter?

A while back I bought an Access Point from Hawking (WA300 part of the
NK330W kit) and used it for wireless access in my apt. I recently
upgraded my broadband router to a new Buffalo router that is also a
wireless AP.

So now I would like to use my Hawking wireless AP as a CLIENT instead
and hook it up to my XBox - so that the XBox can access the wireless
network.

Is this plausible? I guess it depends on the Access Point firmware,
but seems like it should be possible....
