Hi, I am having a hard time understanding these things. I have a windows Xp
OEM desktop without wireless. I can only gt online with dialup service. I
was reading about a product ,Belkin, about a USB thing you can insert to a
desktop so that you can pick up wireless signal (like the way a laptop
does)- THis way, I dont have to get one installed INSIDE the tower. just USB
externally.
Between 3 houses in my neighborhood, we are gonna ge/share the wireless
internet. Someone else will have the wireless modem in their house. We are
undecided of 2 internet providers but will know soon which one we will use.
I am the only one that doesnt have a wireless card or other installed on
their pc. SO, should I wait till we know who the ISP will be or will any USB
network wireless thing suffice.
We are all running Win XP.thaks in advance

Hi
Yes you can buy a USB Wireless card and plug it to the USB Port of your
laptop. It would work like nay other type of Wireless card.
