This has been available for many months. Got mine back in June, but only
paid 29.99 for it.

Will it work abroad (perhaps with some roaming plan) - say in France or
most of the rest of the EU? Or the US?

OK, thanks. Just considering my options for next years touring.

It works abroad: £9.99 per day for first 50MB + £9.99 for each
subsequent 50 MB in Europe, more elsewhere.

What is trivially cheap in the UK costs a bomb abroad. (My Dad blew £60
credit in 3 days...)

I paid £35 for his dongle in a Vodafone shop in mid-August.

I know. Dad thought he'd give it ago. It worked fine until he ran out of
credit...
(He has been pleased with the stick I gave him for his 79th birthday.)

Yebbut you CAN use it. Don't do this unless someone else is paying or
you are VERY careful.

Dad's use in London, where home broadband failed, has been about 70p per day.
Dad blew £60 in three days in Switzerland.
