I have windows 98 and wanted to use the mn-710. It
recognizes it in display
manager, yet always shows a ! or X next to it. When the X
appears, you can't
"enable" it. I was wondering if there is something i can
do or anyone know of
a usb driver included in 98SE that could be useful for
this

Have you tried "remove"?
Then when you re-boot Windows 98 will reinstall it,
hopefully without the problems indicatted by "!" or "X".
