Hi all,

We have set-up a network on Win2000 prof OS.

The thing is we have set the users up with "Users" rights. This is great
for us as it clamps the network down fine but causes problems for the
users as they cannot plug in devices such as usb memory sticks! as they
do not have privileges to install devices.

Does anyone know a workaround that does not involve giving the users
"Power users" rights, or is there a generic driver out there that I
could put on to the machines?

Web searches seem to come up with nothing, I am suprised this isn't a
problem for other folk.

Thanks for any theories.

Cheers,

Paul.
