USB cancels out network card

I've recently formatted my harddrive and reinstalled Win
98. Since then, my Etherlink network card doesn't work
unless I inactivate the USB control unit and reboot.
Once I've rebooted, I can reactivate the USB and the
network works fine. But if I reboot once again, the
network card goes back to saying no.


Any ideas?

try to disable com2 (BIOS)...it will free up an IRQ ...sounds like you're
short on them :>
