USB adapters?

Hi

I'm about to purchase equipment to set up a wireless network and just read
an article suggesting using USB network adapters on the PCs (from the front
of the machines) to avoid/reduce possible interference with a PCI type
adapter. Any comments on whether this is an issue or not?
