Hello,

I am in deep trouble as this is really time sensitive. I have setup a
workgroup in Windows 2003 sever Small Biz. The printer sharing works
smoothly, but I can get the file sharing to work. The file permission is set
to Everyone, full access; The computers on domain are XP Home and are logged
on as aministrators. They still get the message Access Denied.

Please help to troubleshoot.

Thanks .

XP Home machines cannot join a domain, that's why you are getting access
denied. You need XP Pro to join a domain.

In addition to Todd's reply (XP Home cannot join a domain), you should not
be using a workgroup if you have SBS. Was that just a typo? Get everyone
upgraded to XP Pro, do not create local accounts for them. Have them log in
to the domain. Do not grant them local admin permissions - change the
default admin credentials on each machine so they can't accidentally or on
purpose log in locally that way.

A good group for SBS2003 questions: microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
