URGENT: DNS Dynamic updates failing

I reinstalled several Windows XP computers (that now have domain group
policies) but know the network adapter's IP is not registered in the Domain
Controler DNS. The client event viewer shows a DNSAPI Warning Event 11163
with the following message:

Nombre de adaptador : {F4EDB03E-BFC2-486A-83E1-9BDDD31476D5}
Nombre Host : HOST41
Sufijo del dominio primario : [[[XXXXXXMYDOMAIN.COM]]]
Lista del servidor DNS :
10.1.72.21, 10.1.72.22
Enviar actualización al servidor : 10.1.1.1
Direcciones IP :
10.1.72.173

So....
- What is this address 10.1.1.1? It's out of my network segment (10.1.72.x /
255.255.255.0)
- In the Domain Controller's DNS Server: should I allow "Nonsecure and
Secure" updated? I have the "Secure Only" option enabled.

Hello Kirsten,

The computers are added to the domain and listed in AD UC under the computers
container? Please post an uneidted ipconfig /all from one problem machine
and the DNS server.
