Does anyone know of any software which will allow you to measure the
"uptime" of an ADSL line...

I am using an Alcatel USB modem and want to be able to measure when the
modem loses sync wiith the exchange(as I currently have a problem
sync'ing) - *not* the total time the modem is conencted to the net.. via a
DUN etc.

I know this is a odd request but if anyone has any idea's I would be
grateful..

I also have a very old router (Speedtouch Pro) which I could use instead
with any software if that would be better? I'm afraid its such an old router
it doesn't give much useful information itself..

Regards
Sunil

Possibly... I use a program called yipost which updates a dyndns domain
for me, and you can set the "check IP" time on that - if your IP address
changes, it can be made to email you with the time.

I don`t think it`s available to download anymore, so if you want it, drop
me an email (one small exe, which creates a small config file in
whichever directory the exe is in)

Might not be ideal, but it`s as close as I can think of :-}
