Hi,

We have two domains, say corp.com and corp2.com. Corp.com is a Windows 2003
domain and corp2.com is still an NT domain. There are no trust relationship
between the two domains.

I have an issue with a mobile user using Windows XP, whose machine account
belongs to corp2.com,. However, we have setup a logon account for this user
on the corp.com domain using the UPN logon name of say (E-Mail Removed).

When the user tries to use this account when trying to logon to the corp.com
domain, he gets the error message:

"The system could not log you on. Make sure your username and domain are
correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed
using the correct case."

Can someone suggest a possible solution to this issue?

Regards,
Sung Duc

???
You must add that computer account to the corp.com domain!
Have you do that?
The user account must exist on the corp.com domain as well.
Then you can create the UPN suffixes and define the suffixe for the user on
their properties.

I ended up doing that, and it worked fine.

Thanks.
