Uplink Port on Linksys BEFW11S4 Ver 4????

I just bought a new Linksys BEFW11S4 Ver 4 Wireless Router. This version no
longer has an uplink connector next to port 4.

I plugged one of the BEFW11S4's regular ports into a hub and it seems to
work. Does this router have auto configuring ports???? The manual doesn't
have any mention of this.

If there is no UPlink port, obviously it doesn't make a difference as your
router is getting IP(s) right? Even with an UPlink port, doesn't mean you
have to use it to plug a hub into it.

The uplink port allows you to simulate a crossover cable, if needed. I'm not
sure if there's autodetect on the new ones...sorry.
