Hello,
We run Windows Server 2003 with 2 natwork cards, one for the Internet and
one for the LAN. The server's roles are file&print, VPN & NAT and ftp
Server. Everything was running fine untill we changed the Network Interface
Card for the internal LAN (not the one we us for the Internet), now all
conections from the Internet to the server don't work, this includes VPN,
ftp server and Remote Desktop. The file and print server and the NAT are
still running fine. If you wonder why we changed the local NIC, this is
because we want to upgrade our LAN from 100 to Gigabit. When connecting from
another place to our VPN, the connection is positive, the VPN (IP address)
can be resolved, the connection establishes, password is OK, hence
'connected to server' is displayed after a few seconds, but unfortunately we
cannot browse the network. I'm not sure what the local NIC has to to with
this, but since we have installed the new card this is not working anymore.
Any idea how to resolve this problem?
Thanks for yor help,
Perry
