Updating Remote desktop license

Receiving the following message when trying to start a RDP
session, " The remote session was disconnected because the
local computer's client access license could not be
upgraded or renewed." I can still create new connections
from new computers. Am I missing a security policy
somewhere? TIA

we may check Terminal servers licensing if it is in "per device" mode

Change Terminal services licensing on the Terminal server to "per
user" mode and users were able to connect and get CAL's from the license
server.

To resolve an issue with one user being unable to connect to a Windows 2000
Terminal server. This
problem could be resolved by removing the Terminal services license from
the registry of
the workstation which allowed the workstation to obtain a TS CAL from the
existing
license server
