I have been trying to update the firmware on my base
station and have had no luck.

First of all, I don't even know if there is an update
available. My version is 1.08.003. I can't find any
place on the microsoft website to download firmware bins.

This leads to my second issue. The only thing I have seen
is MSBNDownload.exe. However, whenever I run this file I
get an error saying:

"Runtime Error!

Program: ....MSBNUpdate.exe

This application has requested the Runtim to terminate it
in an unusual way. Please contact the application's
support team for more information."

If I install the broadband software, it doesn't even
detect my base station.

I don't have any firewalls running when I'm doing this.
My only idea is that having a non default password on my
base station might be causing problems.
