Has anybody successfully updated the SMC driver to the latest (3.0)?
I've been trying to update from 1.0.0, with the result that no matter
how I'm trying to coerce Windows into installing the new driver it
either doesn't find it or doesn't accept it as a networkcard driver...
Choosing "Have disk" results in Windows not figuring out that the
driver actually fits the hardware and doesn't show the card in the
list of possible card found in the driver I specified...
Even completly removing the old driver (deleting .infs and everything,
don't know if I got them all though; as windows seems to remember
where I got the driver from (keeps begging for \smc on my cdrom, where
I installed from initially), doesn't seem to help...
Any ideas ?
