Microsoft Broadband won't update after installing SP2 for
XP.

There will be an upgrade for the MS software somewhere around the
release of SP2. You will have problems with the public preview and the
MS utilities. You can uninstall the BNU and just use XP's build in
features to configure a wireless card and you can configure the base
station manually through a web browser at 192.168.2.1
