updating AD DNS from bind

Any tricks on updating AD DNS for its AD hosts. The problem is we're
not going to get to upgrade the central bind based DHCP/DNS (4.X
something, managment is tight on budget)server for 6 months. I
learned that the AD forest, which is using our dhcp is not updating
their DNS with their hosts entries. Any script ideas would be
welcomed too. Currently, if it wasn't for WINS, they'd be down.
