I had the same problem. I have managed to get my remote
system to work by, after each reboot, bringing up the
broadband network utility app, selecting tools/adaptor
settings/ selecting configure and just selecting OK. At
this point, the Security code is recognized and it works.
It's not a long-term solution, but it can get you up and
running in a pinch.
