Hey ho.

I'm back, now on sunny ADSL2+ after dumping my appalling virginmedia
service.
The modem has sync'd at 23.5Mbps down 756Kbps up (from what I can remember)

Speeds are cracking and reliable with no "traffic shaping", though
trying to find servers to release these sort of speeds is quite a challenge.

Not bad for an out of date "inferior copper connection" hey Alex.
;¬)

Suggestions for a quality binary server would be appreciated.
Not one for massive downloads, just the occasional missed tv show or
series really..

I'm sure 5 or 6 GB/Month would more than cover my requirements.

TIA

Pete

forgot to change the subject.

The unusual speed aspect was that the dataflow graph on my Draytek 2910
router shows speeds of up to 32Mbps which is clearly not correct or
remotely accurate.

Cheers
