Thanks Alan.
The initial problem that caused me to ask for help was the concept of
selecting a non (D) profile in order to edit it to create, save and activate
a new profile. The (D) profile is the activated default and is Read-Only,
but the documentation is aimed at Three users and never explained that.
After that, all went swimmingly and indeed pp.internet was the APN that
worked for my old VF tariff - with non-expiring credit - SIM.
Thanks,
Tony
