Hi,
Windows 2003 Server, without SP1, as yet. Using NetSupport to remotely access the server over the
internet. (System is abroad, in another country). One reason for this remote access is to install
the service pack, then our application's software and then perform initial system tests, prior to
sending personnel to commission the application on site.
Every few hours, our systems event log records from two to 20 events as shown below. Frequently,
when logged in using the remote console, and coincident with one of these events, the remote console
hangs. From that point on, it is not possible to connect to the server remotely, requiring a reboot.
What is the meaning or origin of this message ??? Where, how or who could be causing this event ???
Does anyone know or have any ideas on what its secondary effects could be ???
All help would be welcomed,
