Unknown accounts locking on Win 98 Clients on Win2k server domain

Since rolling out another win 2000 server. We are
experiencing mysterious account lockouts from Win 98
clients.
Accounts will be locked out for no reason even while in
the middle of doing some work on the PC.

There is always a reason, in this case probably because
some other PC, batch file or service tries to access a resource
on your Win2000 server with a wrong password. When the
maximum wrong password count (selected by your administrator)
is reached, the account will lock up.

A simple way to resolve the problem is to create new account
names for the users that are affected.
