Don't be bigoted Tony. The cost of living as a native there is a heck of
a lot less than living as a native stateside. I know of a guy with a bit
more than the skill levels they want, and he's getting the local equivalent
of US$4800/year in Chennai (Madras) after 3 years with the company.

Actually, they do - but most networks won't permit connections to
the spam haven that is VSNL. Besides, they were kicked off of the
The Times of India list.
They lied to their client, that they have "hundreds" of candidates,
and they are working to select the best qualified from their lists. In
fact, they don't want to let their clients know that they have no names
right now, and are hoping someone is desperate enough to want to risk
handing their CV (resume) to a bunch of identity thieves or email name
harvesters. Of course, you see the same type of ad from HiTech.Recruit
in the [Job] thread below (which was also multi-spammed to
comp.os.linux.embedded). They have _NO_ names, but they're drooling
over the fee they hope to rip off the client and any poor slob stupid
enough to answer their spam ad. My solution for scum like HiTech.Recruit
is to spread the word to all employers and admins I know that they are
not trustworthy pimps, but just ordinary spammers.
