Uncapped UK ADSL providers?

Howdy, I've noticed the nasty trend that UK ADSL
providers are, or about to introduce, capping.

Are there any reputable ADSL providers in the UK
who *don't* intend to introduce capping and still
offer the choice of services as the likes of BT and
Wannado?

Thanks, folks.

Plus.net do a un-cap 1 meg, 2 Meg and even 512

Brilliant service, and brilliant customer support.
I've been with them about 6 months with about 1hr down time in total

In the long term I expect unrestricted accounts to cost considerably more
than they do now. I suspect a capped service will be the norm.

Blame BT and the introduction of usage based charging at the wholesale
level.

Plusnet have indicated they are 'considering' the possibility of capping
in the future - you need to read the internal newsgroups more
thoroughly.

The former, yes, the latter i cannot possibly agree with.

No-one can dispute that, you'd argue the toss, so it's pretty
irrelevant.

A better indicator for potential customers would be if you put a link in
to the current status pages.

http://www.plus.net/supportpages.html?a=2 - rather a lot of amber there
at present.

tut tut ... a referral link like that is *not* what this group is all
about.

A mention was made of 30G/month users not being the problem so much
as those who are maxing out their collection 24*7.

I'm happy with the service.
