Hello,

I have two servers on two different routers and they are networked together.

giving them separate public IP's and allowing internal connection also.

I am trying to get server A to use the same mailboxes on Server B but I am
not being very successfull here. What kind of permissions or security
settings do I have to apply to get the Server A to use the same
mailboxes/folder on Server B

Thank you
Joe

Peer to peer networks are kind of a pain this way.

The general rule is to create a user on both servers with the same password
and permissions and use that user to access the other server.

I am a little confused though, are these two separate Exchange servers? What
do you mean use the same mailboxes?

Hello Jason,

Yes the same mailboxes. No this is not an exchange server this is NON MS
mailserver.
I tried this on the server (adding the same user) however this did not work
either.
I have this problem only with my the mailserver software and I was told by
the vendor that I would need to go to a DC.

So... I have kept it this way for now Two mail servers and two seperate
mailboxes.

Thank you so much for your help
Joe
