Are you talking about a XP client that maps a drive to a 200 or 2003 server and then after 15 minutes or so the drive disconnects with a red X. If the client
then chooses this drive from My Computer it takes a second but then the connection is re-established?
There is an Auto-disconnect feature in windows that severs idle connections to the server. This is more of a performance option so that idle connections
are not taking up resource on very busy servers. You can, as will most options in Windows, adjust this setting on the server to a longer time.
