I want to set my workstation clock
to Internet time.

There is clock.redhat.com and clock2.redhat.com,
the 2nd is pingable from my machine; however
when I try to configure it, an alert says, NTP
may be blocked.

I looked at the security settings and they
were set to medium. I set the firewall to NONE
and tried it again, but the clock still said
that NTP is blocked.

How can I get NTP access for my workstation?

try to using telnet connect to time server with port of ntp and check the
connection failure reason. Good luck

To run NTP, you need to enable UDP port 123 both in and out. Check your
firewall script.

Please check if your ISP has a NTP server - the time picked from redhat.com
is usually taken from pretty far away. The ISP servers are usually
ntp.theispdomain, ntp1.theispdomain etc.

With a quick search, I found ntp1.earthlink.net and ntp2.earthlink.net,
which might be the proper ones for you.
