My Belkin wireless G modem/router allows me to browse the Internet for as
long as I'm using my browser(Opera) but if I leave my computer connected
to the internet and unused for a couple of hours, when I return, I cannot
browse the internet because It appears I've lost my connection, even
though my routers web management site ie 192. ... . . shows that I am
still connected. If I reboot, everything goes back to normal again until
there is another period of no use. This is inconvenient more than anything
else and I wonder if someone knows the answer please.

If your router shows you are still connected to your isp,
you are probably loosing your ISPs DNS servers. It might be a problem your
end or theirs, try upgrading the firmware on your router, firstly, if that
doesnt work, enter youir dns servers manually into your router that should
sort it out.
