Unable to resolve hostname

Scenario - Internal Home Network:
1 - Windows Server 2003 (Academic Edition)
AMD Athalon Custom Built

1 - Windows XP Professional Laptop
IBM Thinkpad T40

The computers are linked with a DLink 714P+ router,
with MAC Filtering and WEP enabled.

Problem:
Initially, everthing was running smoothly. I was able
to connect to both machines, map network drives, remote
desktop, etc. After performing a server reboot, I find
that I am unable to access the server machine using it's
hostname (CLOUD).

C:\>ping CLOUD
Ping request could not find host CLOUD. Please check
the name and try again.

However, if I use the IP address for CLOUD, it will
respond to my ping request.

I checked the router details it shows an IP address for
the hostname CLOUD with the corresponding MAC address.

Does anyone know what the problem could be? This problem
also exists in the opposite direction (I am unable to
ping my client machine from the server). It appears as if
the two systems are on different networks. Any help would
be greatly appreicated.

Thanks in advance,
Paul
