Unable to open some FTP site

Hi,

My company is using Check Point VPN-1 Edge Internet Security Appliance. The
server is Windows 2003. The client PC is Windows XP Pro with SP2. A PC user
reports to me that he is not able to open a FTP site after he keys in his
username and password the FTP requires. I am able to open many other FTP
sites except for the one he reports. He reports to me that he can open it
with his PC at home.

I will appreciate it if you can give me some idea to solve the problem.

so how the site is opened? Is there a special client in use?
Could it be that this site doesn't use the common ftp port, but another one
which is blocked by your firewall? Maybe monitoring the firewall leads you
on the right track.
