The private IP address ranges are:
10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
Making the workgroup name the same on all computers makes networking a
little easier, but it isn't necessary. Windows supports multiple
workgroups, and all computers can access all other computers in all
workgroups.
