Unable to Log Into Win2k3 Member Server

I have a Win2k3 PDC. Later I added a Win2k member server. While
logged onto the member server "remotely", I went to the Adminstrator
"Group" and deleted the only user (outside of the local administrator)
which was listed as a "garbled" name (as if it was no longer a valid
user).

Apparently this user was the "Domain Admins" Group from the Domain.

Now, Oooops, not knowing the local administrator password, no domain
members have permissions to log on locally.

Is there a way, using the PDC, to force this member server to accept
domain logons?

When I access "Computer Manager" from the A.D. console, everything I
click on, include Groups & Users, responds back w/ "Access Not
Allowed" (or something relative to that).

Am I eternally locked out?

Appreciatively,

Clark

Set the administrators group as restricted in a group policy applied to this
server and it should put the domain admin group back into the administrators
group.

Otherwise you may need this. I have used it dozens of times and it is a great
tool to have.

Use this link to create a boot disk to reset the local administrator
password.
