Unable to get network connection on new build

New PC with Asus P5KC mb with onboard PCIe Gigabit LAN controller
(enabled in BIOS), running XP sp2.
Existing LAN using Vigor 2500 functions well with old PC (just checked).

I cannot get the new PC to recognise the existence of the Vigor.
Grateful for any suggestions

Set the GB ethernet adapter in new PC to do 100MB/sec full duplex in its
Properties and see if it will talk to the Vigor. Reboot or disable &
enable of connection may be required.

Problem now resolved - a specific Asus driver was required.
