I recently had to reinstall Win98 on one of my systems that shares files on a
Windows NT server 4.0. I have 5 other Win98SE systems attached to this
server and they aren't having any problem. Even the system that I reloaded
Win98SE was able to get to the server prior to it's reinstall. Here's the
particulars:

1. TCP/IP is installed (also tried adding NetBUEI(sp?) & IPX/SPX but have
since removed)

2. Browsemaster is disabled

3. Can ping the IP address on the NT server

4. Can see the Win98SE system from the NT server

5. Can't find the NT Server from the Win98SE system. I've tried using the
'find computer' method as well as calling the name through the address bar
(\\server).

6. Share-level access control is selected on the Win98SE system.

7. Have waited for for more than 15 minutes but still no sign of the server
on the network neighborhood or anywhere else.

I give up...
