HI There,

I am trying to connect to my windows network without any luck, I have
installed a new network card which I have tested sucessfully on other
servers on our network and the card worked fine. I have much the same
configuration as some of the other machines such as service packs etc. I am
able to ping other machines on the network successfully, but when I try to
access through network neighbourhood or by searching for a computer by
hostname no other machines can be found.

I have also tried downloading the driver from the manufacturer as well as
trying a different brand of card, but with the same errors. My machine
configuration is as follows:

OS: WIN2K advance server
Service pack: 4.0
card type: 10/100
Manfacturer: Netway

Could someone tell me if there is any other checks I can make on the server,
I have checked just about everything I can think of.

Thanks in advance for your answer

Sean
