unable to browse

We installed w2003 server and while we can ping and use
unc to map when we attempt to browse the network from
either a client or another server we get the following
error message
"the list of servers for this workgroup is not currently
availble".
Have checked permissions and shares everthing
seems to be set correctly. Any ideas appreciated.

How do you normally browse the LAN? W2003 does not support Netbeui. Do
all machines have Netbios over TCP/IP enabled?
