Unable to browse Network - Windows 98 second edition

I am unable to browse network when I click on the "Entire
Network" icon. I am able to access the Desktop from other
systems on my Network. The NIC is working properly.

Have you tried PINGing - what is the response?

Silly question, have you enabled 'sharing' on your 98 machine?
