Are you both using Zone Alarm?

Shutdown and restart Zone Alarm.

Tried ZA off - made no difference.
It's wierd - can get ebay on one PC on my network but not the other.

Any idea where the fault lies and a resolution time?

Have you tried pinging IP addresses, rather than urls?
e.g
ping www.tiscali.net may not work but ping 213.254.253.188 will work,
meaning that that you have a DNS problem

Tried that - can ping www.nvfc.co.uk Ok but ebay.co.uk times out. Same
with tracert.
Put the ip in the browser and just waits - seems to get to the sites but
then gives up

All Ok this am.
Found this on the BT broadband site

March 17th 2005: Internet routing changesOur engineers are in the
process of making changes to the way some customer's internet traffic is
routed. If you have previously specified your DNS addresses, and have
recently started to experience difficulties browsing the internet, then
please reconfigure your DNS settings to point at two of the following
servers:

194.72.9.34194.72.9.38194.74.65.68194.74.65.69194. 72.0.98194.72.0.11462.6.40.16262.6.40
..178

If this does not improve your internet service, then please contact the
helpdesk for further guidance.

Please note that this is not a fix for all problems. You should only
make these changes if you have previously specified DNS addresses and if
you have started to experience problems browsing today (17/03).

Thanks - someone on the forum is having major problems, but I just
discovered they've also just moved from AOL, so there may even be MTU
settings at work as part of their problem...
