Here is how our network is setup:

Forest 1
AD Integrated DNS
Forward Lookup ( For Forest 2 Domain ) pointed to Forest
2 DNS Server

Forest 2
AD Integrated DNS
Forward Lookup ( For Forest 1 Domain) pointed to Forest 1
DNS Server

I have Created a Two way Forest trust between the two
Forests. When a workstation logons into the other forest
using the users UPN name. I cannot browse the domain for
that user on the other forest. The only way I can get it
to work is use WINS( on both forests). Is there a way
that I can only use DNS to accomplish the goal?

Thanks.

Hiran

Hi,

Browsing relies on NetBIOS and therefore browsing across subnets requires
WINS.
