Unable to browse domains in forest

Hi there,

We have root.com as the root of the forest. Then there is

sub1.root.com
sub2.root.com

computers in sub1 or sub2 domain can see each other, but notthing in the
root. And the vice versa, computers in root.com can see each other, but they
can't see anything in the sub1 or sub2 domain.

What changed? Well, one of the servers in the root domain had 2 network
cards and was doing routing. We disabled routing and gateway for the root
domain.

Do you think this is related? It may/may not be. Any ideas? Could it be
permissions issue?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Al
