Can anyone recommend a broadband supplier who will offer contracts for
between 1 - 6 months. BT will only offer a minimum of 12 months.

Thanks

Pretty much any ISP does. I recommend Freedom2Surf
(http://www.f2s.co.uk), or have a look through AdslGuide's listings:

Kind Regards

Malte

about half of them, actually. Demon, AOL, Wanadoo, NTL, Blueyonder,
BT, Tiscali are all 12 month contracts

Tiscali - dialup speeds at Broadband prices, see

AOL - the unlimited ISP of choice for heavy downloaders.

If you count out most of the "big names" then most ISPs will.

The ones that leap to mind are Pipex, Freedom2Surf, Nildram, Zen,
Eclipse, Newnet, Griffin, AAISP.

You'll have to pay the connection fee, and as usual check the small
print but they will do what you asked.

cheers,
Paul

Ah... first time I read that I missed seeing the "out" in "count out".
I'd have just written 'ignore' :-) Peter M.

Does it make any difference if you rent or buy the property where you're
setting up and ADSL connection?

Think it matters more as to whether your name is on the BT phone bills...

that doesn't matter either - two pieces of data are used, phone number
and postcode.
