Hi Bill,
I'm not sure what your problem is your end, but the 'snurl' works fine
here - from two machines (one has not touched the referred to link
previously - so its not cached or some such). From the stats, I can
see others are reading the story - so presumably it must be a problem
with Snurl at the time you tried to access the site. My appologies -
but the service with Snurl is under review - and this is the first
problem I've hit.
Regarding coverage. Yes, indeed, we're not immeadiately listing the
likes of Telewest and NTL. Why ? Because our strength is in xDSL
technologies and ISPs. At the moment we have communication with a
couple of ISPs and it is some of those that we list, and report news
articles on - have section on the forum etc etc. The thought behind
UK-Bug was not that we should 'willy nilly' cover all ISPs under one
blanket - but assign someone the task of being the ISP representative
(for want of a better word) - and work with the ISP in question, on
behalf of the users that the representative speaks for.
Over time, the number of ISPs 'covered' will increase - of that much I
am sure. How much depends on users really. The guys behind UK-Bug
can only belong to so many ISPs (one of the criteria for being a rep
is subscribing to that ISP - a fairly logical assumption really).
