Hey 'Bat'

Yeah - Its a difficult thing doing news under any genre .. what does
one include or exclude ? "Broadband" is a very wide topic area - and
what is interesting to one, could'nt be further from the next persons
interest scope. Carrying *everything* is not an option either.

Should a site dedicated to broadband (for example) carry other genre's
"big news" ? Just because one has broadband does not imply that one
is interested in all things internet eh?

One could sensationalise every news story out there, with a broadband
slant - but its really not worth it. For sure .. the recent MSN Chat
shutdown is a relatively big(ish) story - but its not broadband
related is it .. should one also post that the local pet shop has some
new gerbils in stock ? (so sick jokes about cooking please - I've
heard them all before).

Hopefully as time progresses the relevance of news items carried will
be 'fine tuned' to that which is relevant to the readership of the
site. Within one month UK-Bug has had nearly 200,000 hits (with
nearly 2,000 unique visits), which is not that bad considering ..
albeit the site is quite a "high hit value" site per visit. So *some*
people are coming back it seems )

Remember - this is also a usergroup - not a site by us for you lot.
If you want to submit news - go ahead - *please*! Some cools things
are on the way (including one which will be unique - and hopefully
copied (plagerism is the best form of flattery).
