Hey all,

Not sure if anyone realises, or indeed *uses* the tool, but a *read
only* version of Plusnet, BTOpenworld, Nildram and Zen internal usenet
groups are available on the UK-Bug @ http://snurl.com/2kdx

I've today added Plusnet's Service Status group .. let me know if this
has any use at all .. I'm thinking not, given Plusnets service status
availability elsewhere. Let me know though (good or bad).

The whole service is in beta, and there are a few idosyncasies that
need to be ironed out - but basically the groups sync very well. The
syncronisation at the moment is done manually, so there might not be a
new message posted for a few hours during some periods, but typically
its syncronised regulally throughout the day/evening.

As I've said though .. the service provides you with READ ONLY access
(write access is available - its just not implemented for spam / flame
reasons).

The complete list of supported ISPs/Newsgroups are ...

BTOpenworld
btopenworld.broadband.support
btopenworld.broadband.technical.chat
btopenworld.broadband.chat
btopenworld.broadband.gamers.chat
Nildram
nildram.support
PlusNet
plusnet.service.status
plusnet.service.customer-feedback
plusnet.tech.linux
plusnet.tech.usenet
plusnet.chat
Zen Internet
zen.support
Non ISP groups
uk.telecom.broadband

More to be added as time goes on.

Makes interesting reading for those thinking of migration/signing upto
to one of the ISPs above.
