Now there's a compete cock up if there ever was one...seems like they
have lost synch between left and right hand on this one.

Yup, and an expensive one at that.

They'd started upgrading lines to 2mbit and now they've been downgraded
again.
As far as I know, BT charge for the regrades at about £12 per line, so thats
a heck of an expensive change of plan.

Home line was running at 1mbit, that was upped to 2mbit about 2 weeks ago
and now it's back down to running at 1mbit.

Given the change in policy I'd assumed that had taken place in all cases,
rather than ours being a one off?

There have been posts in plusnet.service.customer-feedback about people
having speed problems where they had 2000 and it went back down to 1000
so you might want to read/use Contact Us about your connection! Peter.
