I am currently connected to the internet with a Aastra
(Erricson) PipeRider Cable (Road Runner) connection from
a desktop PC using Windows Home XP. I have a note book PC
with a 801.11G internal access, also with Windows Home
XP. I want to continue to use the desktop PC as I
currently do; internet, scanner, Windows Office, printer,
etc. Now I also want to also be able to do these tasks
from my notebook.
Is there an article with diagrams on this group or
elsewhere on the web that will show how to physically
connecting this network? It would be best if I did not
need to disrupt my existing cable modem.
Thank you,
Jim

Jim, you might want to take a look at the information here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...hyNetwork.mspx
and you can also read through Microsoft MVP Barb Bowman's columns about
networking at the Expert Zone in my signature line.
