Remote Desktop doesn't do name resoltion at all,...the OS's Networking
subsystem does.
If you use an IP#,...there is no resolution.
If you use the single-word machinename,...netbios naming is used (or WINS,
or DNS in some setups)
If you use a dotted-notation name,...DNS is used.
