Two SBS servers using one Internet connection temporarily - will it cause problems?

I'm in the process of configuring a new Small Business Server SBS2003 to
replace our
production SBS 4.5 (windows NT based).

Current Internet connection is through a four port Router with combined ADSL
Modem.

I want to connect the new SBS2003 server to the Internet via the same
Router - do I need to disconnect the SBS 4.5 box when I do this? Or can
they co-exist without interfering? I'd plan to prevent Exchange starting on
the 2003 box until it's ready to go live and take over from the 4.5 server.

The servers have different Internet IPs but both have the identical server
name and internal network LAN IP (10.0.0.2).

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Tom,
You no you can’t connect them at the same time because NetBIOS will discover
that the 2 servers have the same name. The second server should detect this
and disable its interface.
